For the more serious player there are league competitions played on the following evenings from September to April.
Mondays, commencing at 7pm a team of four league playing two frames of singles per player. This competition is played off scratch. There are five divisions to accommodate all standards of players.
For the keen Billiard player, there is a team of three league played on Tuesday starting at 7pm. This is a handicapped competition with each player playing to 200 up.
Wednesday Evenings sees the first of the doubles league’s take place again starting at 7pm. Each team has four pairs contesting two frames per pair and playing off handicap. These matches are usually played on two tables to ensure a fairly early finish. There are two divisions in this League.
The more serious Doubles League is played on a Thursday Evening in which six players take part in three pairs.
Playing two frames per pair these matches are normally played on one table and the competition is fairly keen.
There are two divisions in this League which again commences at 7pm.
The Ray Edmonds Snooker Centre has many Teams taking part in these League Competitions with representation in all divisions.
We can accommodate any player or teams wishing to play from our club in any of these competitions.
As you would expect, all league players must be members of the clubs they represent.
